Cognitive Horizons: Where I got the name and logo
The name Cognitive Horizons came from a book "Unleashing the Power of Perceptual Change" by Renate Nummela Caine and Geoffrey Caine. The Caine's write "Cognitive horizons represent the limits of the 'maps' people use to navigate through the world of information and meaning. The larger and more dynamical the maps, the more room they have to maneuver, and the easier they can roam without getting lost."
The logo is my own creation to explain cognitive horizons. The book is open, indicating one's receptiveness to learning. The sun is rising above the edge, or horizon, of the book. A new educational dawn is beginning.
